CHEVELLE: Platinum-Bound!

CHEVELLE's major label debut, "Wonder What's Next?" , has recently been classified gold for sales of 500,000 units — and will soon reach platinum, for sales of one million units.

Drummer Sam Loeffler says they haven't received their gold record plaques yet, but they're eager to get them.

"We're getting them probably a week or two weeks before we're getting our platinum records, so it's been a long time we haven't gotten them," he said. "And we know they're in at our record company and they're sitting in the office. We said we'd really like to have them, so we're going to go there tomorrow and get them."

CHEVELLE will be on the Ozzfest 2003 mainstage beginning with the June 28 stop in Selma, Texas.
